How to block specific server locations in competitive CSGO

Are you tired of playing with/against players in a Russian server when you live nowhere near it? Or end up in a Brazilian server when you live in the United States? This guide will show you how to solve it!

How to block servers
Blocking certain server locations may cause connection issues with GOTV.

1. Open up the start menu and type "cmd" in the search bar
2. Right click on cmd.exe and press "Run as Administrator"
3. You'll see a black window, now all you need to do is type the commands to block a server.

Here's a list of all of the server block commands, you'll need to block all of the servers you don't want to play on so that you'll only connect to the ones you do want to play on.

Block Russian Valve Servers

netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name=blockrussia dir=out action=block protocol=any remoteip=146.66.156.0-146.66.156.255,146.66.157.0-146.66.157.255,185.25.180.0-185.25.180.255,185.25.181.0-185.25.181.255

Block EU East Valve Servers

Block EU West Valve Servers

You'll have to type in the command for the server you want to block. Keep in mind that you can't use CTRL + V in CMD so you'll have to manually type the command into CMD OR COPY AND PASTE IT FROM THE GUIDE USING RIGHT CLICK (THANK YOU OFFENSIVE HARRY) and then press Enter.



How to disable the server blocks
If you want to disable the block you did for a specific server, open up the control panel and click on Windows Firewall:

Then, click on "Advanced Settings":

After that, click on "Outbound Rules" and find the blocked server rule name, right click on it and click "Disable Rule"
